I know I have to agree but here at work they actually posted it as a "Healthy Lunch" with low fat salsa on it. This road will be hard but I have to do it and I think taking this step by coming here is the way to begin. I am almost embarressed to say my current weight but ok I will (365).

SO is Diet Coke bad? I am so addicted to Diet Coke I have at least 2-3 a day. I use to have more but cut it down.

So my typical morning breakfast is driving to Dunkin Donuts and having a bagel with cream cheese and coffee. (I am so addicted also to their coffee). Ok guys I know this must be bad. What can I do?

Default Where to buy a scale

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy a scale? Most scales I see go up to 300 and well I am well above that. Is there some place online I can purchase one?

Way to Go!! 16 pounds that's crazy. We shoulda made you get past first week before starting challenge . Those big meals, as long as LC(and sodium), do sometimes have a losing effect on me as well.

Peaceole and looseal, be sure you check out a couple threads on the main page that are very helpful.

Newbies questions
Atkins Daily Low Carb Support

And also I'm sure you can read through any of our Journals and see the struggles we've all been on. As they say this is not a "diet", but a "way of life (WOL)". You just have to make the mental switch in your brain that you don't need sugar , white bread, flour, etc .... Hope we can help on this journey.

I have a couple good scales. First is a spring scale.

Health-O-Meter (goes to 390) bought of Amazon.com

When I surpased that scale I bought a strain scale.

My Weigh XL-550 (goes to 550) bought from livingXL.com, but have seen in cheaper at other sites since.

The weird thing is the Health-O-meter scale now shows about 10 lbs heavier than the other. I'm guessing because I stretched springs when heavier. I'll see if it keeps 10 lb difference while I'm losing. I don't have a third set of scales ... perhaps I should go to the doctor some day.... oh well that's another story.

Well I didn't cheat yesterday so that's a baby step forward for me. I have a tendency to eat dinner from the moment I walk in the door until I go to bed 6 hrs later.

I am using fitday.com and keeping a journal here.

Has anyone had experience with dreamfields pasta? I'm curious to know if it affects your weight loss.

Cool A total of 5.6 lbs gone.

I didn't cheat yesterday and was rewarded with .8 of a lb down this am. Another baby step in the right direction.
