Hi Gayle,

I am new to posting here but have been on (and off) LC for years. I do well on Atkins, but CALP makes a lot of sense. With Atkins you can eat meals and snacks freely. With CALP it is less eating between meals. Also, staying away from AS during day.

I don't have any cravings after eating a balanced RM. I do think it is wise to not see the RM as a binge...just a good balanced meal.

Welcome Gayle. Maybe you should have a look at the CALP book as well as they complete each other. The second book emphasizes the importance of a well balanced reward meal (RM) which should not be seen as a binge.
