I have asthma, ezcema, allergies, all sorts of things. The thing is that it's all fairly low-level or controlled, so while I get stuffed up when I go to bed, I'm fine in the morning. My ezcema is always there, looking bad, but only itches really badly sometimes, so normally I can ignore it. Even my asthma only acts up when I forget to take my preventative meds for a few days in a row. Sometimes I wonder if dairy or wheat is a trigger, but I'm never bothered enough by my little issues to go to the effort of doing the whole elimination diet test to find out for sure.

My wheat consumption has been down lately and my ezcema is in one of it's healing phases. Last year one patch healed spontaneously & disappeared for good during one of these healing phases. Maybe I'll keep the wheat consumption down to see if perhaps the two are related. I'd love to be ezcema free for the first time in about 12-13 years!

I realize this has the appeal of a lead balloon, but a lot of these things are often tied to dairy or grain intolerances. Bat Spit has gotten rid of her asthma entirely by eliminating dairy. I got rid of my ezcema by ridding myself of gluten. My sinus issues were dairy related.

Anyway, if you can steel yourself to doing it for a couple of weeks, try to go paleo and see if you can't resolve these issues with your diet. What's a couple of weeks? Pretty easy, just eat meat and vegetables, maybe a little fruit and nuts. Avoid premade food unless you carefully read the labels and know there is no gluten (barley, oats, wheat, rye) or milk products (casein, whey, lactose, etc).
