I love the peach Fresca - very refreshing. I can't have it often, though, because aspartame is one of my big migraine triggers.

There is a diet soda called Hansen's Diet Soda. I used to drink fresca, but now I drink Hansen. It's sold near the seltzer water at walmart. They come in citris, black cherry,Creme. There are more flavors, but I cant remember the names. It taste so good and it does not have that sugary flat taste diet right does. There are no carbs.

Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't even thought of Hansens, and I love their regular sodas, so I bet I'll enjoy their diet flavors too!

For an even richer treat, add some heavy cream. It's like an indulgent float. Delicious! Great for cutting cravings too because it's both sweet and filling (due to the fat). It's funny, but I can't stand to drink the stuff by itself. But add some cream and I can't get enough!

Interesting idea. I'm a peach Fresca girl myself, and I was on a high fat thread for a while, and some of the folks out there just DRANK heavy cream, which grossed me out, but I needed a way to add more fat -- I would never have thought of this on my own. Thanks! I'm (back) on Induction right now, but the high fat thing is the only time I've ever gone into ketosis, so once I start adding more dairy, I'll definitely try this...

I bought Polar seltzer's diet sodas to try. They were pretty good, had splenda, and came in some interesting flavors( like diet black cherry, diet pomegranate dry, etc). I had to read the labels tho cause some of the fruity ones have juice and splenda, so there are carbs( like diet orange dry, delish but had actual orange juice in it).
Then I tried the waist watchers which also has spenda, but I found them too sweet and potent. Maybe I could cut it with some regular seltzer water.
I have been trying to skip the soda and have more water. But on Atkins, I do like a sweet beverage once in awhile. It may be psychological.

I'm drinking Pepsi One right now, and I know that caffeine is a no-no, but I am soooo addicted! It doesn't taste like diet to me.

That is what I drink when I want a treat as well. Love it!! I allow myself to drink some on the weekends, and generally only ones sweetened with Splenda. LOVE the Pepsi One!! I also like floats made with A&W Diet Root Beer and Diet Cream Soda. And Diet Rite. I have never tried Fresca! I might have to pick up a can and give it a taste!

I had to give up diet pop recently. Both Nutrasweet and Splenda now give me migraines when I use products containing them.

My new solution is club soda with flavored stevia drops. Not bad.

Barqs has caffine. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but usually you can count on Root Beer not having caffine.

I like Mason's Sasparilla. Too bad I can't find it in diet.
