I am have hypopituitarism which is low overall hormones, including low thyroid.

I am on both Armour and Synthroid. That seems to be my best combination. I tried Cytomel and it didn't work out...but this combo works well for me.

Do you bruise easily? If so (and maybe even if you don't), you could also have low cortisol levels. Those should be checked first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.

If your endo doesn't seem knowledgeable enough, keep looking for a good one. That is imperative.

I went through a few docs before I found an excellent one. People fly in from across the country to see him. He says the ranges are baloney, and your TSH should be between a 1 and a 2. And 2 is often too high for many people, they don't feel their best until their TSH is closer to a 1.

well i got my new test results and that major jump she did in my medication got me closer to the goal of 1.0 il post my test results now
tsh 1.922
t4 0.97
t3 116

im still taking armour thyroid she added another .25 to the medication this visit to get us closer to 1.0 as well, i think it looks alot better
