CONGRATS Pennink!

Mike...I am diabetic, and have been off daily meds since I started lowcarbing.

I find that if I eat carbs...the first few offenses don't raise my blood sugar too much...but by the 3rd time...sky high, just like the old days.

AWSOME!! Now that you have gotten a second chance at life, what do you plan to do? I know that I survived a surgery where I had complications on the table, and when I was finally in my own room, and with my family and they told me I, too, had been given a second chance, I decided right then and there to live life a lot differently. You have been given a true gift from the accidental meeting of this other doctor (although I come from the belief that EVERYTHING happens for a reason), so you are truly ment to do something that will impact someone else! YOU ARE AWESOME!!

I am so thrilled for you! Amazing! I wish I could give you a huge hug... there ya go.

Think you'll write this up for the Success Stories section? (how about an article, hint hint)

You must feel on top of the world!
