Oh hell no!!!!! There technically isnt any carbs in diet soda anyway

I refuse to give up diet pepsi. There's no need to, as long as I am drinking appropriate amouns of water as well.

Some people go all hog wild, banishing everything from their diets, living completely organic, not even smelling carbs, for example. Thats a personal choice, but I refuse to be an obsessed lc nazi. Diet soda is most likely not going to derail you.

I don't count carbs from diet soda. I limit myself to one a day, but that's because I won't drink enough water otherwise.

hate restricting my calories...

I've heard lots about people losing loads on very high fat, but maybe you cant because you are almost at maintaining. Then calories do become more important.

I hate restricting things too. Restricting carbs has been a hard enough lifestyle to get used to, dont tell me I have to restrict portions too!!!

Nicole your married guy story reminds me of when I dated this guy for a few months, really nice... but never wanted me to come to his house for whatever reason, we always just ended up going out or going to my place... finally I was like "why have I not seen your place yet"

I was thinking he lived with his mom...

turned out he was married... with 2 small kids...

needless to say that was the end of that, but it totally devastated me to think he was doing that to his family. disgusting.

If there is, I'm sure we know who started it.

OMG! Thats terrible. How did you find out?

Its things like that (and the way i've been treated by so many guys) that makes it hard for me to keep the faith in people!

Yeah, couldnt agree more.

I've been posting on the boards today, which I usually dont anymore. It pisses me off, and I am reminded again why I stay out of the other threads.

Besides some questions being repitious, I am SO sick of people completely ignoring the postes questions to force a rule down their throat.

Yeah, some people can only do this well if they are obsessive, strict, by the book person. Thats fine, ymmv. But I hate people that only spout rules and go to everything. If anything, you can answer, and say, well, for me, it only works this way....

One question was asking if ___was an acceptable take out lunch, and almost all the responses were to brown bag. Um, great, but that wasnt the friggin question.

Yeah, and it really isn't making this a WOL if you're telling someone they have to always bring their lunch.

I think SugarFreeSheila spends all day just taking pictures of herself. I've never seen anyone with as many self portraits as that chick has on her site.

I'd believe it! She looks really great. I have to admit I find her site pretty motivating. But sometimes it makes me roll my eyes a bit. I feel like she thinks shes a little too hot The pictures are like crawling all over the site!!!!

She does a lot of hard work for low carbers though, and really helps a lot of people. So I wont bash her too hard

Maybe if I looked that good I'd be obsessed with taking pictures of my self walking through the mall, grocery shopping, etc. too
