Ooohh Jude! I'm sorry you missed us too (consider yourself hugged)!!
We took Vicki & Andy (dd & sil) out for lunch to thank them for slave-driving us all weekend and getting a LOT accomplished. Our new unit is second from the far end (away from the road), still the upper side, but in the middle driveway - so far number 7A but will be 3260.
We've been back and forth all day, every day - fill boxes, haul 'em up, empty them onto shelves or into cupboards, haul 'em back empty, refill, repeat ad nauseum! We're seeing daylight finally!
It does look apocolyptic doesn't it! I don't anticipate it looking much better until they finish rebuilding all the rows although it will help when the next row is occupied too. Then they'd better be planning on some really, really nice landscaping to reflect the amount of rent increase!! I have to admit, new appliances go a long way to consoling over price. I reserve judgment on the range until I actually try it (and test the oven temp) and on the dishwasher until I see if it cleans dishes without pre-washing, but the fridge looks great - I already love it (assuming it will keep ice cream (Island Farms sugar-free of course) frozen without making it rock hard)!!
Janet, I'm a firm believer in oil of oregano (vile stuff, but it works for me) but you have to start it at the first sign of a sore throat. In the meantime, definitely what Jude said!!!! At least we know that eating the way we do, our bodies have the best fuel for fighting off infections and viruses. Feel better fast - that's an order!!!
hugs all, Glenda
