My food for yesterday 12/16, phase III Maintenance
My weight is holding at 158, tomorrow is 1 yr at goal for me.
b- 1/2 cup dannon carb control yogurt, 1 flax muffin, 1 coffee w/ H&H and splenda
s- 1 bran crispbread w/ PB and jam
l- 4 ozs salsa chicken
s- 1 luna bar ( poor planning, out shopping and it was late and I was hungry)
d- 1 cup carnival squash, salmon filet w/ fajita veggies, dark chocolate 1/2 serving= 100 cals
s- dried apricots, 5 rice bran crackers= 1 serving, 1 HB egg
I am really liking the changes I've made to my daily menu over the past few weeks. The flax muffin is wonderful!! The dark chocolate at night is good for a few reasons and first is the yummy taste as I allow it to melt in my mouth, it does help me relax(seretonin) and I am sleeping easier too!!
The health benefit in that it dilates the vessels and helps prevent clots is a biggie!!
