You betcha!

Anyone allergic to peanuts? I took Jude up on her offer of a bag of cacao nibs and I just made a few PB cookies, using a combination of sweeteners (including SweetOne) and rolled them in cacao nibs before baking - I'll sneak some in for dessert. We'll see what you think and we can give Jude a consensus opinion!

I am not allergic to peanuts but I am on a doctor-restricted diet right now - I was on clear liquids only (NOT FUN) - now into stuff that I know isn't going to cause me problems (i.e., nothing "new") - so I will leave you two fine intelligent women to the sweets!

See you in a few hours!

Julie

Hi, y'all. Unfortunately I realized a few years ago that peanuts aren't good for me. I would, however, take a few of those home for my DH if you bring any, Glenda!

see you both in a few hours.
A.

Can I please have a chorus of "It's A Small World"??????

Amazing how small this universe really is. Still reeling over Glenda knowing my parents!?!?!?

Nice to see you ladies again. I will post in the "Victoria Get Together" thread a couple of possible dates for later this month.

It's a small world after all, It's a ... I'm kinda reeling too and John is disgusted that I didn't recognize you right away! Anyhow, hello to both of them when you're talking to them next.

I can't imagine that John would have recognized me either! I have changed A LITTLE since he saw me last!!!!! Add to that I don't really look like either of them.

Tell him hi from me and I will say hi to all the parents when I talk with them next.

Julie, you've change a LOT, but I really believe he would have known you! He's absolutely amazing when it comes to remembering, and recognizing, who we've met and if they "fit" with someone else we know - drives me absolutely crazy!!! I don't know how we've stuck together so long - (well yes I do ... we're both too lazy to train someone new!!!)

hugs, Glenda

When I said I had changed "a little" it was tongue in cheek.... LOL

Last time either of you saw me I would have been a lot younger, a lot heavier, wearing thick glasses and without my teeth fixed. Not a subtle change at all!

It's a gift to be able to remember people - wish I had it!!!! If my ex husband didn't recognize me (after not seeing me for 17 years), I am not surprised YOU didn't..... ROFLOL

Ah, but we DID see you more recently than that - when you were helping your mom haul her wares into the Holiday Inn at the bourses! That was probably only about a year ago, although I don't remember ever having much conversation with you - you probably escaped too quickly for that!

Ok, that's probably true, but it was still a few years ago and my goal was to get the heck out of there as fast as I could to avoid getting trapped for the day ROFLOL... so I wouldn't have been looking to recognize anyone!

Again, I have a vague memory of seeing John there - but all I would have said was "hi" and then I ditched!

Hi, Glenda--reporting back that DH liked the cookies, actually said "mmmm.....chocolate chips!" (I tried to explain what they are.) His only negative comment was "crumbly"...more PDX??? thanks again, A.

Thanks Anny. That was John's comment too, and I have to agree - I ended up dumping a bunch of crumbs into my hand and licking them up! I forgot to buy PB last time at Thrifty's but almost time to go again. I'll try a half batch with more PDX and just keep experimenting until they hold together a little better.

Glad he liked the flavour - those darn nibs are too good!

I meant to bake this weekend but never got to it so my little nibs are still waiting patiently for me to make something..... My DD was eyeing them so I'd better make something LC pretty soon or she will use them for something else!

Randy liked the cookies!
