This is what my mother always loved to call life's lessons! I wouldn't sweat it, you are back on plan and that's what counts. So congrats on getting back on plan. Pat yourself on the back for that and the rest is just history!!

Hey, guys! Boy, have there been a lot of posts!! Unfortunately, I am up a couple of pounds. I am really hoping it's mostly water retention, as I took the fam plus MIL to my parents' house for real corned beef and cabbage this weekend. I did eat mostly corned beef, but did have some cabbage which I think is keeping the water in there. I had 1/2 a potato also and a nibble of potato roll which has always been a fave of mine. I even had 3 oz. of Bailey's Irish Cream! I've been really, really good since I started in October, even through November and December, because I was afraid if I went off plan I'd never get back on. So I guess I figured I could take a departure just once. I am annoyed at gaining, but today is just another regular low-carb day and I'm sure those two pounds will leave quickly!

By the way, for the poster who asked, a Sky Glider is kind of like the Tony Little Gazelle. Very low impact but gets my heart rate up really well. I love it!!

Smile Cheers All Around

I just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone, so HELLO!

Just to warn you, I'm going to be cheering a LOT in this post. And I'm sure that the little bouncing emoticons may get on some people's nerves, and if they do, I am so sorry. I've just been reminded this week how every little thing we do that is healthy for us gives us cause to celebrate! Every pound lost, every minute exercising, every ounce of water we drink......everything we do is bringing us one step closer to our goals! That is so encouraging to me, I just had to cheer!!! I wish you all the best of luck this week. We CAN do it!

Yogama, here's a big congratulations on your 3 lbs loss! Well, actually 5 this week, eh? LOL That is such an awesome accomplishment, and I know it must feel wonderful after stalling for so long. You're doing a fabulous job!

Jazzfan, congratulations to you for getting right back on plan! That is such a key to success. The simple truth is that there will be times when we eat things that we shouldn't. I would imagine all of us have been there a time or two...like ME last week. But the important thing is to keep marching and not look back. And you're doing just that....so WAY TO GO!

Southbel, big congrats on your loss this week! Isn't it wonderful to see the scale moving? LOL I love it! I also wanted to say that you are so encouraging, and I for one really appreciate that. A kind word goes so far, and you are so sweet to take the time to lift people up.

Dianna, way to go on getting right back on the wagon! That was just the right thing to do. I'm sure the scale will be moving in your favor in no time!

Gypsy, I wanted to thank you for the way that you singled us out and paid special attention to each of our situations. That was so uplifting for me and encouraged me to give the same kind of support to others. Cheers to you as well! LOL

Annie, thank you so much for the welcome! As a newcomer, I really appreciate it a lot. I'm a bit nervous about joining challenges (even though this is my second one), and so the welcome eased any fears I might have had. Thank you!

Muse, I wish you the best of luck on getting the scale to move in the right direction! I have felt, quite a few times, that it needs to be given a map on the RIGHT way to move. But that's just me! LOL I know you'll be losing again in no time. Just hang in there!

Tripletmom, I have to be honest. I love your hair, too. My cut is something similar, but I don't have the cool highlights. So sad. LOL Good luck this week with your eating plan. I know that you'll do an awesome job!

BG, I love that you have set mini challenges for yourself inside *this* challenge. I have a hard time w/ the water and exercise, so I guess maybe I should be setting some guidelines for myself, too, huh? Seriously, though, great job on setting them. I know you can do it!!!

LiveWell, big congrats on the cheat free days! That is soooo awesome! That is such a huge challenge in and of itself, and it's so encouraging to see that it *can* be done. I could take some lessons from you in that area. LOL Best of luck this week with everything!

Princss, welcome to the challenge! Congratulations on getting to post your smaller numbers! Very good luck this week!

Eyesofblue, WOW! You *are* almost ready to start a new weight century, aren't you? That is soooooooooo awesome. Deserving of three cheers, I think: What a wonderful feeling that must be!

Donna, I wish you the best of luck in getting that scale to move, move, move! I know you can do it! Just keep on marching, and you'll get the results that you want! You can DO it!

Nosuga, congratulations on the four lb loss from the previous challenge! Every pound lost is, Lord willing, a pound that we will never see again. Congratulations as well on your clothes fitting you more loosely. That is wonderful! You're doing a great job!

Tanikova, MW, and Layd: welcome to the challenge! I wish you all the best of luck!

Whew!!! That took a while!

Morning everyone!!! I usually only weigh on Thursdays but I snuck a peek at the scale last night and I think this will be a good week! I'll officially post my loss on Thursday.

Annie1gi... Sorry the M/E fast didn't jumpstart you. Enjoy your veggies now! Yesterday was the first day of spring. But it sure doesn't feel like it... it was 31 degrees on my way home from work this morning.

Tanikova... Welcome! I'm not far from you... about 40 minutes west. I go through Norristown when I ride my bike on the Schuylkill Trail from Valley Forge. Good luck on the challenge! The pounds will come off again!

Fauna... YAY on the 1.2 lbs! That's great! And go ahead and all you want. We all need some cheering!!!

LiveWell... Glad I'm not the only double browser!!! I can relate to it being hard to eat right at work because of long shifts. I work 12s and it's tough. We don't get breaks this time of year so if we eat it's something we can eat fast on the run. Makes it tough.

tripletmom... YAAAY on the loss!!! Looks like the weekend weight didn't find you!!! Nice!

dianna9234... YOU'LL BE OK!!! So you ate... now stop beating yourself up. Drink lots and lots of water. You can't change what you ate but don't let it bring you down. I have a tendency to say "Well, I blew it... might as well keep eating..." Just jump back on. We've all been there. And the Nacho Sundae sounds to die for so I probably would have done the same!

southbel... I've used the "I'm allergic" line before. People sometimes do get insulted if you won't eat what they made.

yogama... I've never heard of Bikram Yoga. I will check it out. WTG on the loss! That's awesome! I know the scale surprise! Even when I'm eating faithfully right I'm still surprised by a loss!

jazzfan... You're probably right about the water weight. Drink up for the next couple days and I bet it drops off. Glad you had a good weekend! Sounds like fun!

princssmaz... Whooo hooooo on the loss!!! Especially since you're an EGG! LOL!

GO EGGZ!!!!

I was going to wait and post my results once a week, but I get too excited whenever I see the scale go down that I can't seem to wait! Another pound and I'm now 1/5th of the way there. Yay!! And can I just say wow on everyone's successes.

Congratulations, Southbel, MW, and Nosuga4me!!! Y'all are doing such an awesome job!

Dianna, just keep on marchin', hon. You can DO this!!!

To everyone else, I hope you're having a wonderful day! Mine has been good. It's the second day in a row that I've exercised, so I'm quite proud of myself for that. I've done 45 minutes for each of the last two days, and from a former couch potato, that's awesome! LOL I wish you all the best of luck this week. Everyone keep up the good work!
