Wow, Chari, you dropped 4 lbs all of a sudden. Feels great doesn't it?

Yes! Absolutely! My next mini-goal is 180 lbs.
The thought makes me kinda giddy. Every 5 lbs. below 185 is such a victory for me as I haven't been below 185 since I can't remember when. Many years to say the least.

Dusting myself off and climbing back on....give me your hand please.

I keep forgetting that you've reached goal weight. I guess the challenge is now maintenance. Staying there. Rick has a whole section in his books devoted to maintaining your weight once you've arrived. It can be a challenge as well.
I only wish I had that to deal with.
Some day!

Q, I am sure it was just water weight. I was up to 192 yesterday because of over eating and drinking the day before...that day I was 188-or 189. So goes the yo-yo effect.

Q. Thanks. Maintenance is difficult. I really need to get exercising and toning. I'm not a night owl, so once the days get longer and the sun stays out later then I will devote more time to it. For now, it's gonna be green/yellow light. And as I said...I will likely try to stay a little below my "goal", I'm gonna aim for 126 lbs...that will mean a total loss of 60 lbs!...I like round numbers...lol....perhaps I will go change that in my profile..so I have something to work towards over the next few weeks...it will take a while...those last few pounds are the hardest I hear.

Plan: GI Diet
Weight: 129.6
Down 0.8 from yesterday

Now that I am tracking daily, it amuses me how much of an effect high-GI food has on me. Not just on my weight but on other things. I have headaches when I eat bad, and yesterday after eating high-GI all day Saturday, I was a total GROUCH!

Chari...are you getting enough water....and enough sleep? Recent research shows that lack of sleep can thwart weight loss efforts.

Lou-I am getting enough sleep and water.....I'm sure it's nothing. Have you read why the scale lies link in my siggy?
It will be gone tomorrow.

Thanks for thinking about me.
