I was wondering if CAD was OK to do during pregnancy. I'm not pregnant, but I do want to be someday.

SummerSlim, I don't know. I only know that I can not control anything in the way of eating without CAD. I can't imagine that CAD would be bad for pregnancy since you do get carbs...you get protein, carbs and lots of vitamins and minerals (especially from all the vegetables) every day. I think this is probably sound.

You will need to see how you feel, though. Some women can't get through pregnancy without eating every couple of hours. I don't know though...it's possible these people aren't carb addicts. Because frankly, if you're a carb addict, eating every 2-3 hours very very quickly turns into eating PURE JUNK about every hour. When you're a carb addict...the more carbs (and more frequently) you eat, the more you want to eat. It's uncontrollable, like a rollercoaster starting its downward slope.

You will need to see once you get there. I think eating healthy foods at regular intervals must be safe for pregnancy, and for me, that's what CAD is.

Glendora-
Thanks for responding. I can tell I'm pretty addicted to carbs, the whole snacking all the time, never satisfied feeling...I feel so much better on CAD. I'm glad it's working for you too.
