1. Being able to wear a really sexy demi bra without it creating back fat rolls
2. Trying on a bathing suit without cringing.
3. Fitting into clothes that actually make me look like a GIRL! (Instead of the "stealing my bf's band tshirts and toss on a pair of jeans" rut.)
4. Finish up all my tattoo work (11 and counting!)
5. Being able to wear a really tiny outfit at the next tattoo convention so I can show off my work better (and maybe land in tattoo magazine again... that would rock!)
6. Playing with my dogs and having them get tired first. (Ok, I may have to wait until they're no longer puppies for this one )
7. Getting my sciatica to FINALLY GO AWAY!
8. Being able to sleep stretched out instead of on my stomach with one leg up like a farkin' flamingo!
9. Going back to visit my friends and family in NY and see if they recognize me.
10. For the first time in my life.... I will only have one chin!

Smile spaghetti straps, Susan? Forget the straps, I wanna wear the spaghetti!

Okay, okay...just kidding. How about wearing the spaghetti and finding it covers all the important things??
1. buying clothes from someone else other than Omar the tentmaker.
2. crossing my legs
3. go jogging in the morning and coming back feeling great.
4. having the family ask me how I've done it
5. being a source of inspiration and encouragement to another person and help them get some results to be proud of.

One of the things that I think about lately is how losing weight will change me. Somehow I fear that I'll get down to 150 lbs and suddenly I'll turn into this extrovert, start wearing red and makeup and go shopping for a convertible. You know what I mean? My weight is not whats stopping me from wearing red.....it's just that's not who I am.......I want to lose weight and feel confident in the fact that I will remain the same. That I will be a responsible, reliable mother and an active member of my community. I'll just be looking better when I do it. I'm not sure if I'm getting across what I want to say....but hope you all understand....

Gee -- I guess I'd like to wear a sexy thong that's a real thong, and not just a pair of my grandmaw panties getting lost under my belly and up my butt.

GO THONG!

I have a good one...I think it'll be wearing a strapless black bra and having my hubby say to me..."WOW...great bra, when did you get that?" rather than what he'd probably say to me now..."What the hell are you doing with a perfectly good inner tube??" LOLOL...hope that gets a chuckle out of this crowd!

Default Great thread have to do this one

You all crack me up

1. Be able to wear the clothes I like not just what is avail in m size
2. Not going out to dinner with my fiance and wondering if people are looking to see what I am having.
3. Being able to go to the pool and swim again without worrying about how many people are there or being all covered in the biggest shirt I can find.
4. Being told after I ask someone how i look that i have such a pretty face
5. Being able to look for a wedding dress and not having to worry about how tight it will be in this area or will it show rolls
6. Not showing up to school events for my son and being the Fat Mom.
7. Not hearing snickers and jokes behind my back in public from kids and teens. *that has happened and it really hurt*

And most of all not worrying about dying from feeding myself to death. I can hardly wait to be the girl on the outside I am on the inside.

I have been there, and you know what? I did what you need to do. Decide not to let that affect me. I was once running on the River here in Tulsa and had someone yell "Hey fatty, when's it due?" at me. I flipped them off and decided to go back every day.

Since then, I have not avoided any situation like that. I won't lie to you and say that the scorn of others doesn't hurt -- it does -- but you need to decide not to allow that to get in your way. Life's too short.

Ya beat me to it, Nikki, only I wasn't even going to say NOMB. Sorry, kiddow, we're fam here, and you just got all of us crowding into your kitchen, sittin' on the counter, and getting down with you.

Just think, dumping him would put you, what? 150 lbs lighter? Girl, you don't have to put up any less than you deserve. I also noticed that you said food was controlling you. Sometimes people eat to stuff down frustration, anger, sorrow, loneliness, etc. Maybe if you dropped the sorry guy, you would find yourself less inclined to eat for non-hunger reasons.

[Kathleen hops off counter and wanders off to find the bathroom, leaving the floor open for the next bizzybody to stick her nose in here.]

I feel you on this one. I am the opposite though, I have worn my size kind of like a badge my whole life. I have always been heavier and I made sure that it stopped me from doing nothing, I was a cheerleader, an aerobics instructor etc. Anything to fight the stereotypical restrictions on a fat girl, so what will I be if I am not the fat girl flying in the face of convention?

I also have to jump on the bandwagon here LowCarbr, if you wanna dump a bad boyfriend, dump him now. Why wait to make a positive change?

I cannot wait to take a plane ride and be comfortable in the seats and to be able to feel sexy not frumpy in a white t-shirt and jeans!

This one's easy. . .

* Fit on rides at amusement parks
* Hike to the top of Enchanted Rock Labor Day weekend without being on the verge of dying like I was last year
* Hike, hunt, fish, and move with purpose
* Train in martial arts again
* Bike ride
* Play ball again
* Run a half marathon or a relay marathon (bad knees, can't run a full)
* Shop in normal stores
* Burn my Fat Man clothing using propane (and propane accessories)
* Enjoy food again without making every meal a big event
