congratulations on you and dw quit 301. I have the patch as a back up and have used 3 in the past 10 weeks.(Quit 2/6/05). Just having them helps me stay clear but like you i just accept the craving for what it is and move on. For me Lc eating is harder than not smoking. Best wishes to you 2 .

I have now stopped smoking for 5 days, 14 hours, 30 minutes, 34 seconds. That translates into 112 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $29.4! I have increased my life expectancy by 9 hours, 20 minutes, 27 seconds.

I have now stopped smoking for 8 days, 15 hours, 59 minutes, 42 seconds. That translates into 173 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $45.41! I have increased my life expectancy by 14 hours, 26 minutes, 38 seconds.

My stats

Quit smoking for 3 Weeks, 4 Days, 19 hours, 2 minutes and 30 seconds (25 days). I have saved $136.69 by not smoking 515 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 18 hours and 55 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 4/24/2005 4:40 PM

I am shocked to read the amount not smoked and money saved - FEELS GOOD

but since I am just starting on Atkins Induction, I want to only shock my body with one thing at a time

I think induction is a great time to quit smoking because you can lose weight, control cravings, and pretty much eat what you want that is legal

Way to go - three weeks your doing great! I feel about the same - outstanding and my feeling is when your ready to quit thats when it is time - you can loose and quit similar to cutting out all the non carb stuff, coffee and cigs.
