Hey ya'll!!! I'm one of those kind of folk too. I live near Tecumseh, on a dirt road, behind a rusty fence, inside a rickety house, locked inside an overweight woman. Help!!!! lol For a long time, I believed that I could do the same thing I've always done to lose weight, until I hit my mid 40's. Sooooo, here I am. Trying to lose it with Atkins. I'm insulin resistant at this point and need to get it off. Hope to get to know you guys and learn all your secrets for losing weight.

tonmur, my gosh, I'm a Sapulpa Chieftain myself! What are the odds that two Sapulpans would cross paths on the same Canadian website?

I'm now in Broken Arrow. Hiya fellow Okies!

Hello to everybody!!

I live in a suburb of OKC; work at Tinker AFB. I love this WOE (the feeling of CONTROL and NO HUNGER) and I sincerely believe that this website is the reason I have been as successful and committed as I have been. I would love to hear from anyone else from OK!

Default Wooo Hooo

It is so cool to have so many from Oklahoma. It brings it closer to home then when you are talking to someone in the UK, although that is fun too.

What/where are your favorite LC stores or suppliers?

Okay, I know where Scott and Deanne are--and Carbgirl said near Tecumseh. I live outside Allen (between Ada and McAlester on Hwy 1) and teach in Holdenville (slightly larger than Allen). Mary, where are you?

I had a 1 1/2 lb gain--probably water weight from the carbs. I'm back on track now--and very glad for the routine.

Talking OKlahoma City

I am in OKC and I am new to the low carb WOL but so far it is going good...I have been on it for 2 weeks and 1 day and have lost 10lbs...Thats pretty good..or so I think. I feel like I am going to stay on induction for at least 2 more months since I have alot of weight to lose and induction seems fairly easy to me because I don't get hungry...Well good luck to everyone...

I am currently living here in OKC as well. Good to know that the OKC health food stores and Walgreens arent making their money completely off of just me.
