I like chopped fresh parsley in and/or on mine. yum. I think I need to put some eggs on to boil during my lunch break!!!

This is the THIRD day I've let you guys get me craving something and I've gone home and made it. Yesterday it was taco's (salad, not shelled) and the day before it was spaghetti squash alfredo. What? Do you guys dictate what I eat now???

I happen to hate mayo, so my 'devilled eggs' are made with either ranch , three cheese ranch, or whatever other salad dressing sounds good at the time. Even caesar.

Actually I use Miracle Whip...Since I was born and raised on Miracle Whip I'm just used to the taste of it and cannot stomach tuna salad or deviled eggs made from mayo only. When I called myself attempting to try mayo I had to add sweetener to my concoctions because the mayo alone about made me gag.

You know those little bottles of orange and black caviar you can buy at Trader Joes?

They're the best on deviled eggs.

The person who wrote this article

about devilled eggs thinks I'm gross, lol. You should read the article though, it's pretty interesting.

There are so many ways to make deviled eggs. I've added chopped celery, chopped onion, chopped dill pickles, tuna, cheese, and so on and so on!
Create your own by adding things you like!

Since I travel on the bus to work, I can't really bring devilled eggs already prepared, they just get very messy, so I just bring two hard boiled eggs, peel them at work and spread mayo and hot sauce on them - I know it's not the same as the yolk being whipped, but they still taste great.

It's funny that when my friends and I get together it is assumed I will bring devilled eggs and veggies and dip. It's amazing to me how fast the devilled eggs go. People don't seem to make them very much. I can scarf down a dozen of them in a couple of days. I think I hear my eggs boiling even as I write!

I add such things as fresh dill, mint, parsley, cilantro, finely chopped bell peppers, even sometimes a bit of curry powder! I like them made best with just a little bit of full fat sour cream instead of all mayo. Sometimes i'll add in a some red wine vinegar too.

I dont know why you'd wash them but maybe if you over cooked your egg and there was a green rim around the middle. A perfect boiled can be achieved by puting the eggs on the stove in cold or room temp water. Bring the eggs to a complete boil, then remove from the stove, cover & set for 20 minutes. No more tough eggs. This is not from me but the experts like Betty Crocker.
