Default Found Low Carb Milk and Cali Wraps

Dairyland now has a carb reduced milk. 3 grams in an 8 oz cup! I found it at Save On in Red Deer.

Our Superstore also just this week started carrying Cali wraps. These are the ones a wholelot of people are raving about. I have not bought them yet, because they are still a little carby for me, but I know that lots of low carbers can eat them.

I'm thiking if we are seeing this stuff trickle in here in Red Deer, Alberta they must be available nation wide pretty much.

OH MY GOSH!!! Dairyland has low carb milk? I'm so jealous that you're in the West!! I hope they get this stuff in Ontario ASAP!! Thank you for making my day!
P.S. How does it taste? (the milk...i'm allergic to ANY low carb wrap 'cause of wheat)

It tastes wonderful. I just had a sip to see, but I am looking forward to cooking with it and I will give it to my husband in the morning with cereal.

The store manager said he ordered it in because people were requesting it, so I am betting that anyplace that carries Dairyland could do the same.

Save-On has a tremendous number of health foods and organics here, so they are very open to that sort of thing.

Sucralose. This is the website for the company.

Dairyland in Western Canada and Ontario, Nutrilait in Québec, and Baxter in the Maritimes--its all the same.

I live near Edmonton and am so happy to hear this! I miss milk and my kids drink tons of milk so I always have to buy, serve, touch, smell it, so I miss it. Not in a horrible craving kind of way, just in a healthy eating way. I always used to have milk when my kids did to model proper eating behavior. I am going to ask if my store can get it in!

It looks like a regular 2 liter milk container. It was in with the regular milk.

nope - no luck. i've checked everywhere that dairyland is sold in my area. also asked a couple places if they could bring it in - they had NO idea what I was talking about and I don't think they remembered/wrote down what i asked for. I have two equally convincing explanations for this:
1) The fact that it's a CARB-something product...grocery managers are awfully intolerant of fat people on low carb diets
2) I look too young to be taken seriously
Sorry if this post is whiney, but I've waited long enough for this product and the fact that it's finally being made and yet not available is making me very upset. At one store, the manager said "I'm not sure that we could order that...we'd need a high consumer demand". Meanwhile, this store stocks and constantly sells out of Ross Chocolate. Hello? I CAN SEE THE CONNECTION - why can't they?? I think MOST low carbers have NO IDEA that Dairyland has a low carb milk - that's why they're not asking for it! I wish I could put a sign up around the Ross bars advertising it and getting them to bug the manager to bring it in. End of rant. So short answer - no, haven't found it in ON yet. Let me know how your Walmart hunt goes.

I struck out asking in Winnipeg - got asked did you find everything question so when I said no - I might as well have sprouted horns for all the reaction I got -cos I doubt it would have been noticed. Sometimes I wonder if stores understand that they need to stock it if we are to buy it!
