I've been at my goal weight for about a year now. The surprising thing is, I still find myself paying as much attention to what I eat now as when I was still trying to lose. The difference is, I now eat for health and to feel good, I just don't feel that great when I over-do the carbs. I can tell I get bloated, the most I will "gain" is maybe 3 lbs, but I'm pretty sure it's water retention. That alone is enough to send me back to an induction day, and it comes off within a day. (I do weigh myself daily.) In fact, I ate some potato chips AND a sandwich yesterday (blech!) and today I am eating straight induction.

One thing I just recently realized is, I think I very easily slip into ketosis, now. In fact, I think I am in a ketosis mode most of the time, and it is when I get OUT of it that I feel bloated.

So I guess what I am trying to say is, you can continue to have that great feeling of doing something good for yourself. It is a change though, I remember feeling like you do now. Just take things day by day and you will figure out what works for you!
