Today was cardio day. Not my favorite thing to do you probably have gathered by now.

After going to the dentist--out to Lunch--Came back and went straight to the gym and decided to do 45 minutes of swimming laps. I did some huffing and puffing there as the length of the pool is 75 feet and a lap is down and back=150 feet a lap.

Today: 45 minutes swimming

Laps: 20 x 150= 3,000 feet today.

I am tired--and headed for a nap.

Ok--Am back from the gym with the shakes. I ate an apple before I went but wasn't enough. Next time will eat some protein with it. I came home and ate 2 fried chicken legs and a chicken wing. That and a diet sprite has filled me for now.

All exercises done 12 repetitions x 2 sets.

Warm up: Bike--level 1-----2.9-3.0 MPH x 5 minutes

Vertical Press: 45 lbs
Pectoral Fly: 30 lbs
Shoulder Press: 10 lbs
Lat pull down: 40 lbs x 12----50 lbs x 12
Abdominal Crunch: 60 lbs--Up 10 lbs
Bicep Curls: 20 lbs
Thighsolator: 60 lbs
Leg Extension: 40 lbs
Leg Curl: 40 lbs
Lateral Press: 30 lbs
Front raise: 4 lb bar.

5 minutes of stretches for cool down

I came home pooped---This was the first time that I went through my whole workout by myself and am glad I was able to get through it all. I forget the names of some of the machines but luckily most of them were labeled.

Hope you all have a great day!!

Thanks Mischa--Actually I am doing much better than I thought I could. I take each exercise and do it slow. But the other day I was watching this young man--probably 22yo give or take--No I wasn't drooling--but he was doing Very heavy weights and I asked my trainer about why he was using such heavy weights and doing his exercises so fast and she said that that was the way to build muscle. He had to tie himself on one of the machines as the weights literally lifted him off the seat. Really different.

Hope you have a great day!! Have fun in the sun too!!

Happy Friday everyone--Hope you all have a good day and a super weekend.

Ok--Today was cardio: Bike ride x 45 minutes.

Warm up at 2 MPH x 2 minutes
Biking: 3.0 -3.2 MPH- level 1 x 30 minutes
[At 30 minutes my trainer came by and since I wasn't burning at all--shifted me to level 2]
Biking : 3.2 MPH -Level 2 x 15 minutes--Did I feel that??? silly ?--
Cool down: 2.5 MPH x 3 minutes.

Total time on the bike: 50 minutes

Not sure what I will do over the weekend but will do some form of exercise to keep me limber.
