Hi , Junk . I checked our walmarts on Hall rd and I couldn't find any. I haven't been to TJ Maxx by Schoenherr , I don't remember them having any food stuff, but I haven't been there in a while. I should stop in there someday. I didn't notice any food at the gnc at 23 and gratiot. I will have to look for the post but remember the one where she was coming from canada and wanted to know where to buy some stuff while in michigan? Well, she went somewhere at Birchwood mall, I think . Maybe that store would have davinci syrup. I want some too.

Have a look around here in the Products forum.

This is the perennial question, and it's been answered quite a few times.

Enjoy.

Default Ok, I found the DaVinci syrup--now what?

Our local Walmart had loads of DaVinci syrup...it was in the coffee aisle. They had the big bottles and the smaller ones. But they only had the coffee-type ones---hazelnut, irish cream and vanilla.

Now---my problem is.....I don't drink coffee. So what else can I do with this? I bought the vanilla one.

Oh and it was cheap too (at least I thought it was). $3.97 for the small and $5.97 for the larger one.

I also found Crystal Light in the premade bottles for $2.12!!! That's a great price. I paid close to $4.00 at Kmart. That stuff is soooooo good.

Oh and one more babble-----Walmart also had Diet Rite. Cases 2/$5 And bottles of different flavors for $.98 What a bargain! Is the white grape any good?

So if anybody is looking for this kind of stuff, check out your Walmart, Kmart stores.

I use the DaVinci syrup with Club Soda and some heavy cream to make an Italian style soda. Delish!! I also use it with the Atkins Shake mix and heavy cream for a thick shake/ice cream. Mix it up and put it in the freezer for an hour and it is Mmm Mmm good! Now I want one!

Oh, and those are great prices for Diet Rite and Crystal Lite. Like you said, the CL is also nearly $1 a bottle around here.

I like to put some da vinci in dairy. Try using it in mock danishes, cream cheese creations, whipped cream, cottage cheese & splenda.

Da Vinci can make dairy dessert!

I would love to hear more ideas as I can't use them in dairy (I'm lactose intolerant).

Any other uses?

I'm off to Walmart tomorrow!

I mostly use mine for coffee or tea Basicaly you can use the syrups in anything you would normally use sugar or splenda in. Throw them with a shake for a different flavor. Put them on low carb pancakes or french toast. Make LC desserts.

DaVinci is a brand that makes sugar free syrups. They are basically flavors that one uses in coffee, baking, etc. Look at www.davincigourmet.com for a huge list of their sugar free offerings. OH, speaking of which, in response to the original question, they have a recipe database there so maybe some of those can be made low-carb. Never hurts to try.

Edited to add: if you type "sugar free" in the search area at the bottom of the screen you get 252 recipes that specifically are meant to be sugar free. You can type in the flavors you have and voila! a recipe list.

Default DaVinci Syrups

I'm SOOOO excited....my order will be here on Thursday from DaVinci's.

I ordered $90 worth - sure I got carried away but it was FUN.

I will be sharings all my bottles with friends who are doing LC (unfortunately, most of them don't have much of a sweet tooth but most like flavored coffees).

Default Finally got some Da vinci SF syrup!

Thanks to those that have posted about checking out Marshall's! You saved me a trip to a low carb store (and money)! I paid $5.99 each and got the only two they had at the moment, SF choc and SF caramel! Will try it in ziplock ice cream tonight!

These are great in coffee, too, if you're a coffee drinker. I add them to whipped cream cheese and to my mock danish as well.

Enjoy!

Question Green Apple?

I was trying to decide to order the apple flavor of this, or the sugarfree snowcone syrup I found online.. I miss my sour apple vodka, and thought I could concoct a substitute with these... Anyone try it?
