Default Who else is in the One-Year Club?

I have kept the weight off for one year since reaching my goal last April 23, 2003. Who else has maintained successfully for a year (or more)? I'm sure there are a lot of us.

I met my goal (under 115 lbs) in April 1999. I pretty much stayed the same weight since. I kept my vow to eat right, always excerise. I walk to work....a mile and half walk uphill evey day. Going back is easy....downhill. LOL! That helps so much Yes, I eat starches now. I just watch myself. I guess I will always stay in Ketosis. I burn fat instead of carbs. You pretty much will stay that way. Your attitude should always be never looking or going back.

I hit 165, my original goal, over a year ago. Gained a bit at Christmas but took it all off with no problems.

I'm over 2 years at my goal now. I don't weigh in every day anymore of course, but when I do get on the scale I'm never disappointed. I fluctuate, but stay in my goal range. So much for "fad diets" and "gaining it all back".

Hi

Yesterday was my six month anniversary of obtaining my goal, and staying (as the doc suggested) within 5 lbs of that goal.

I reached my goal weight (140 lbs the weight I kept most of my adult life) last September. Was maintaining it (137 lbs - 140 lbs) up to June 20. Since, as a side effect of a new runner performance booster diet (I mean real food diet, not supplements), I have been loosing weight, inches. So I do not know, if I was a successful maintainer for ten months or a big time staller, being after a ten-month stall, and still lbs away from my "final" weight.

I reached my goal weight just over a year ago, but didn't feel satisfied with my size until Sept-Oct when I was exercising a lot. So I'm "sort of" in the One Year Club

Wow! I just realized it was a year ago July that I hit my goal! Cool! Haven't had a minute of food cravings since then. I eat potatoes, etc. occasionally but lots of days go by when I eat pretty much induction style food. I did have my first ear of corn in 15 months the other day! But didn't feel like I needed to have three ears to feel satisfied! Great topic, we should all feel good about ourselves!
