I have lost 5.25 inches in those measurements total since 5-11-04 ( 2 months) and gained .75 total in my biceps, and .75 in my back .....would liked for it to be more, but I'm glad to see something good here. And I have lost 6 pounds since then. Of course that's been yo-yoing the whole time, but as of right this minute....that's what we got here. I think I figured correctly.

Default goin' to the gym music

What a brilliant plan!!!!!!!!

Why don't I think of these things?!?!?! Because I am fine once I get there...Its just that 25 minute drive that is soooo dreaded. But I am gonna do it! You people have all the smarts.

As for the gym bag with something cute to wear.....ALWAYS!!! Don't you find that when you are wearing something cute...instead of walk, you tend to sashay....sassy gals always sashay!!!!

So as soon as I get back from California I am going to make me some pumping gym music. I will have to fill you in on it as soon as I get back!!

Default contemplating here....

What I need to really work harder on: Back thickness, slimming down legs more, and as always abs! Maybe I should dedicate one back work out each week to back thickness exclusively? I will give the jagar squats a couple of weeks to see if they are helpful for the leg slimming. Anyone wanting to pass along any ideas?

Smile Stomach Vacuums....

I'm posting this for anyone wanting to try something a little different for abs. I personally love them. I usually do them to start my ab work out. And I also do them other times during the day just to get everything pulled back in tight.

Stomach Vacuums :

Perform a vacuum by exhaling all the air in your lungs, sticking your chest out, and trying to touch your belly button to your backbone (don’t worry, you will never accomplish this). Hold for 10 to 20 seconds, relax, and repeat. The simplest way to perform vacuums when starting out is from a kneeling position on all fours. As you begin to master the vacuum in this position, you can also perform it in an upright kneeling, seated, or standing position. Like anything else, the more you practice the easier it becomes and the more control you will have over flexing your abdominals. Eventually, you will be able to do these anywhere, from driving in your car to standing in line at the grocery store.

I was a little nervous at first when I saw the word Vacuum behind the word Stomach. Made me think of something like liposuction!

Didn't know that move had a name. Thanks for posting it!

Cheers!

Unhappy chest and triceps 5

7-12-04 149

Chest:
db presses-- 40 x 9, 8, 7, 7
db flyes-- 30 x 10, 9 (break), 10, 9
pec dec-- 30 x 10, 8, 7

Triceps:
