These are so damn good. But I stopped eating them cause they stalled me. I was eating this every other day then moved it up to every week. Now, I've stopped and the weight is coming off again. I think I'll have some just once a month.

YUM YUM!

Yup... I had to see for myself. Cinnamon has 5 grams of carbs in 1 tablespoon - that stinks big time..... This recipe had me all excited for minute, but thanks for the heads up!

I made this recipe and eve thought it looks like crime, it tastes rather good. I did have DW take the 1st bite though. It reminds me of these cream cheese danishes my parents used to buy at this Italian bakery in my home town.

We both liked it and will try it again. Im eating it right out of the bowl I nuked it in. Do some of you take it out of the bowl and eat it like a pastery?

My mouth is watering......I'll have to make one this weekend. The carb count for cinnamon just floored me.

i think it sounds great and 7 carbs isn't THAT much, especially for a nice break from the same old junk!

I finally caught on to this as well. It's exactly like the cream cheese danish filling, it also reminds me of the bread pudding my dad used to make (might try a rum sauce with it some time, just for a special treat). I use the DaVinci vanilla syrup to save on the carbs and just sprinkle enough cinnamon on top for the flavor. I think doing that it only adds up to about 3 carbs. It's such a quick easy little meal when you're too lazy to make anything else.

Not to be a party pooper...I made the mock danish last week for breakfast, and thought I was going to vomit...it tasted horrible and I love all the ingrediants in it.
Just my two cents....it thought it was bitter, could have been the davincis...but I've never had that with davinicis :-)

Thank you so much for posting this! The only thing that still stops me in my tracks is the smell of Cinnabon. I have had to abandon my shopping and just leave the mall to get away from the temptation.

The recipe I have been using doesn't have cinnamon -- this is a great variation!! I can return to the mall again!

FridayLove, I think the bitterness comes from the Splenda. I like Splenda in my coffee and a small amount in some sweets, but any more than a packet per serving is very bitter to me. I have to mix sweeteners to avoid that.

Ha ha I have nevewr put a topping on mine and I have gone through long periods eathing these daily..some days they turn out better than others though...it all has to do with how well you miss it. if you nuke the first part less than 2 minutes the middle will be somewhat wet making up for topping and its VERY good! I like to eat it very hot!

Cinnamon may be carby, but recent studies have shown that it helps to improve glucose metabolism. Here are some links:

Cinnamon may have 5g carbs per Tbs (actually 5.4 according to the USDA database) but it also has 3.7g fiber. So the net carbs isn't anything to worry about, especially considering all the good things they are finding out about cinnamon.
