Default I have to share my best Casserole EVER!

I just wanted to share this recipe idea with y'all. I made it for dinner last night and DH asked if we were eating potatoes! I make the Twice Baked Faux potatoes about once a week and he loves them but this was the best.

I made my version of Faux Potatoes:

2 Bags Frozen Caul. boiled until soft and mashed
2 TBSP butter
1 Cup Cream Cheese (This is what thickened them up I think)
3/4 Cup Sour Cream
1 lb hamburger browned, grease drained
1 chub of Jimmy Dean sausage, browned, grease drained
Onion, Garlic, Spices etc. to tase

Mix all ingredients, pour into 8x10 casserole dish sprinkle with cheese (I used Colby Cheddar)
Bake at 350 unitl bubbley, about 30 minutes.

Serves 6 for a full meal, or 8 if having a salad.

I love doing one dish things and this was perfect!

Wee

YUM YUM & YUM !!!!

I made this for dinner last night and it was awesome. Sorry, I'm not one of those people that buy the "this mashed cauliflower tastes like potatoes" --I think it tastes like cauliflower...but this was great! I thought it tasted like stroganoff, but without the mushrooms. Must have been the sour cream in it.

I had 1/6th of it last nite for dinner and now I have lunches for the rest of the week for work!

Thanks for the great recipe!!
