I was brought up on pizza, pasta, polenta etc by my Italian mother.

I really thought I would struggle to give these up but it's been a lot easier than I thought and I no longer crave these foods.

There are lots of good quality low-carb veggies available.

I was also vegetarian for 22 years before starting low-carbing, but the urge came back and I haven't looked back!
