Am definitely tempted, especially with flights so cheap ... will let you know, will have to see if I can have the Monday off work as I think it will be a slow recovery from an agonising hangover!!!

Lynda, have you got our itinerary sorted out yet then? Remeber, you can get a drink in Edinburgh 24/7 if you know where to go

Lynda - I was thinking of coming up on the Friday too, although I dont want to go crazy on the Friday night and then be a wimp for the Saturday!!!

But would love to spend a bit more time there - what is the name of the Scotty dog in Edinburgh?! I always fill up when i hear that story - was he called Bobby?!?!? Anyways!

Bobby was a Skye Terrier owned by John Gray an Edinburgh Constable. John Gray died of TB and was buried in Grayfriars Kirkyard. His family left Edinburgh but Bobby refused to leave and for over 14 years he watched over his master's grave. Kind locals cared for him. A much visited monument commemorating Bobby's quite remarkable loyalty can be seen in Greyfriars Churchyard.

The last time I was in Edinburgh (about 5 years ago) I nearly cried when i heard the story (on the tour bus) ... it is SO sweet!!!

So who is definitely coming?!??!?!
