Dearie me! - ITN do have a bee in their bonnet don't they?!!!-
WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM?! - will they stop at nothing?!
Today on their lunchtime edition they resorted to wheeling out a z-list celebrity in the form of Claire 'yes i'll do/say ANYTHING to get on t.v' Sweeney - they headlined it "CLAIRE SWEENEY'S ATKINS NIGHTMARE"!!!!!
enough of this madness!

Yes, I was so impressed with the fact that she'd obviously never read the book "I didn't really know what it was all about" and then she goes on to complain of being laid up in bed with what she 'thought' was a kidney infection, talk about desperate for attention!

I wonder if we should call ITN with a TRULY SHOCKING story - people doing Atkins with no adverse effects

the daily mirror is being silly, one week they say atkins is dangerous then in the sunday mirror this sunday gone they are encouraging people to go on atkins and offering a free cd on atkins.

the story,s in the daily mail as well.guess Claire must be desperate for some publicity this week.the headline is-CLAIRE SWEENEY,I collapsed on the atkins diet.shes blaming the diet for giving her a kidney infection.grrrrrrr!

Claire Sweeney? Such a remarkable self-publicist I have to say I've never heard of her?!

All this propoganda must be costing someone a small fortune. Either that or its costing the tax payer whilst the government divert attention off something they're doing?!

I heard this on the 6 30 am news on Capital Radio this morning. Not a helpful statement as you don't know what she did during the time. Of course if she did any diet without recourse to the book she would become weaker and more prone to pick up any infection going!!!!

yet I read an article on her where she had lost 2 stone on Atkins and was over the moon!! Must be another publicty stunt and which story is selling more to make more cash!!
