Question Do you want me to post recipes here?

I'm not seeing any response to my recipe posts (or most of my posts lately). Do folks want to see them here? If not, I'll just post them for the folks who read and respond to me in my journal.

tonight ( RM) I made a big Caesar salad and I put a bunch of add in's on the table ( bacon , grated cheese , grilled chicken , and croutons .
I made lemon feta green beans , because I knew i needed a veg , but I found it really hard to eat veg with a salad , any ideas ?

You can just make it a really large salad, so long as you have your protein and some carb in there, you don't have to also have a cm veggie..just have all the veggies of your salad.

No, I'm not doing anything paleo. I prefer coconut oil because of the saturated fat (This is the one thing I don't agree with the Hellers on. I think saturated fat is good for you.), low PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acids), high cooking temps, and a host of health benefits (including weight loss). Plus I love the flavor of coconut! Even on savory things. It makes the best taco shells!

I think coconut oil is an acceptable fat but the Hellers probably don't like it because of the amount of saturated fats.

It does impart a coconutty flavor on foods. I like that. Hubby is very aware of it's present, even if I try to sneak it in. I think it goes well with many savory items, including eggs.

Today I had:
rm: 1/4 cup of pasta with veggies, shrimp and chicken, banana, 1 protein bar
lunch: boca burger with provolone cheese and tomato
dinner: chicken fajitas minus the tortilla so yummy- I used the 'baked chicken fajita' recipe from pinterest. Hubby who isnt on the diet anymore and the kids had theirs with tortillas and rice and I just had my by itself. It was great even without the tortilla!!

I like that too! I make what I call a coconut curry chicken by pan sauteing chicken (usually thighs for this) in coconut oil, seasoned with curry. Yum!

Shushy- I could not my rm at dinner- it was almost impossible for me to wait that long and I thought of my meal all day. The solution for me was having my rm sooner in the day- first I did it for lunch and eventually breakfast and now breakfast is always my rm. Maybe try having your rm for lunch tomorrow and see if that helps? My energy also increased, and my weight loss is very very steady
