Default Himalyan Pink Salt

Has anyone had experiences with this?
I have switched over to using it. I have suspected I have hypoactive thyroid, although the bloodwood doesn't indicate this and have read articles suggesting HPS can help with hypo symptoms.

It is VERY salty

I bought some, find it no different to Sea Salt personally. Apart from the colour!

I heard that sea salt doesn't raise blood pressure like regular table salt. I switched to sea salt 4 years ago. The pink has more minerals.

It is salt. Pretty salt, but it is still salt. I think it is probably over hyped. If you're hypothyroid, go see a good doctor and get it checked out.

Exactly. ALL salt is sea salt. Some is more processed, or has additives (table salt). But ALL salt is sea salt. And, even if you use "a lot" of salt, you are still using very little in comparison to all the other things you eat. It is a condiment, not a major food source. I don't use much salt in any case (I don't particularly like salty food), but even if you do ... really, how many more minerals are you getting from the salt you choose? Use what you like, and what you can afford, but (in my opinion) there is a lot of hype over the different kinds of salt.
