Cigarette induction
About a week ago, I went to my sister's house, got drunk, and smoked cigarettes. Since then, I have been smoking cigs. Not a pack a day, but smoking with other people (neighbor, mother in law, sister). I have been quit since May 5. WTF? seriously I'm stupid!
I've been abstaining from the cigs for 2 days now. Does anyone who quit smoking, think it's really comparable to induction. If you slip up, you have to abstain right away, or the cravings will never go away. I can't have any simple carbs. or I get bad cravings. But I know if I stay away, the cravings will almost totally disappear. Same with the cig. cravings. I feel like kickin the carbs has given me strength to stop the cigs NOW. This is the longest I've ever quit smoking and don't wanna blow it. Plus, the last 7 months of battling the stupid scale would be for nothing if I started smoking again.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share, and see if anyone else found strength they didn't think they had after getting rid of the carbs.
