Default Heather,

I just checked your profile. First off congrat on 42 lbs I'm sure you look amazing and you've probably had to buy all new clothes as well (maybe more than once) So it's almost been 6 mo.? Maybe you could try a fast? I read into all of them...they look hard but I don't think you would have a problem (looking a the commitment you've already shown). Hey in a week, if I haven't dropped a couple more pounds, I'll be doing a fast.

Good Luck,
Erin

Hey Erin - no problem - I want to fiddle with another 3 pounds. I can't get rid of the arm rests on my waistline thru exercise - and I read that "great abs are made in the kitchen not the gym".

I buy into most new ideas since I only have a little weight to lose now, I consider myself on Maintenance Minus The Peas.

Default I need help to get my last 8 lbs off...

Can anyone help. I looked over the modivation club and couldn't seem to find any group that worked for me. I can't seem to get modivated to finish the OWL off I still losing - slowly. I really wanted to lose my 40 lbs. in 4 months, which will be here in 2wks. 4 days. I don't see that happening anymore. I was thinking maybe if I had some one to help, it might help. I think I going to whip out my food journal, starting tomorrow I was akso thinking that if I set my goal lower I would get more modivated, but then I think I would be skin and bones. Ahhhhh.

Thanks for the help,
Erin

Now where did I read it? Sometimes exercising at the 5X or introducing weight training does cause stalling. It feels so good to see the muscles toning up, that exercising is more of an interest than it was before. I'm challenging myself to put on some muscle weight, so I'll hold my goal at 200, though current weight is 193. I'll probably drop my goal weight to about 190, though, after weight training, unless happy at 200. We'll see.

Default Morning Cardio on Empty Stomach

To get those final pounds off, you may want to (if you're not already) do your workouts in the morning prior to eating anything. There's a good thread in the Exercise Forum on the extra boost to weight loss that it provides:

AM Cardio on an Empty Stomach

I kinda slid up a few pounds and gave it a try and was back down to my target weight within a few days.

Good luck---hang in there! You're a success already and this is just the icing.

Regards,
K.
