Ebbie - about the jam. It can be done. You can buy diabetic jam. It's made with sorbitol so don't eat too much at once or you'll be forever rushing to the loo.

With regards to ketchup, Safeways do a reduced sugar and salt one which has 14g per 100. a 5g blob on the side of your plate is less than a gram therefore.

I still love sausages.

Yes, less than a pound I think. You can't use tons of it - not at 14g per 100, but I weighed a good squirt and it came out at 5g - enough to dip my sausages in at breakfast!

It tastes good too.

Hello everyone!
Im new to the forum. I am from the US and have been living in the UK for over 2yrs now. I have searched for Italian sausage but cannot locate it here (Doncaster). Needless to say I was excited to see the message about Biggles store. I have already emailed them with questions on shipping. Are there any other stores that you know of that sells this item? Many thanks!

Hi Mamie

Welcome to the forum... hope the UKs been treating you kindly?!

Your best bet in finding Italian sausage is probably to find out where the nearest good delicatessen is; it tends to be standard stock there.

I love it here thanks. Met my fella over the net 3 years ago. Moved here and got married. I do miss some foods from the US but have adjusted ok.
I have checked the shops in town on market day, but no luck. Hopefully Biggles does mail order.
