I seem to be in a mode of wanting to eat to my level of activity. I'm finding it hard to lose weight when working out regularly.

I'm on a roll -- in the wrong direction. I'm due to have another cholesterol lab drawn this week. My doctor put me back on a quarterly regimen after the LDL spike back in March. How I have been eating should result in good numbers for the Doctor. However, I'm considering scrapping the idea of trying to manage my LDL cholesterol through diet. I seem to make better eating decisions doing keto. Keto gives me high LDL-C. So to please my doctor or please myself? That is the question. The more I read about LDL as a marker for CVD the less I am worried about my higher LDL scores. I think I want to take a chance and get back to doing keto all the way.

Ken, good luck this week at the doctor. I know my choice would be to stick with whatever I can actually stick with, which would be closer to keto. Doctors should be treating actual health problems, not numbers.
