Hi Meme!
I really enjoy them too - and it makes walking fun. I've caught up quite a bit - at last the AZ and ATL pix are posted. Glad someone else enjoys them

It's nearby - I walk the parks in the county and towns around when I can. I love the area - it is very pretty here. The town here is a one-horse place

Default wk starting Oct 15

Mon Oct 15 - 20 min basic exercises, some yoga and stretching, mostly floor work and about 8 min of brisk walking around the house. Cold and dark - it's all I had in me tonight. (very physically active at work today).

Posting this here from today: the daily Canadian Goose parade on the brief walk I took...

Tue Oct 16 - 20 min walk at another fav park, where I got to feed chickadees out of my hand - such a cool feeling to feel a bird perched on your fingers! (didn't get pix of that this time, though)

Wooden walkway thru a swampy wetland area on the way to the bird feeding station...

More and more leaves turning and falling on the lookout deck...

View of the creek that runs through the park...

Some leaves turning reddish...

One of the maintenance buildings with the experimental "green" roof...

These prolific pretty golden berries...I don't know what they are...

The hydrangea is faded, done for the season...

All decorated for fall...

Bright scarlet Sumac tips...beautiful color...

Thu Oct 19 - 12 min dancing to Pandora dance station, 8 min stretching and floorwork basic exercises

All the Small Things - Blink-182

Sat Oct 20 - I am counting work in my exercise - very active day including an hour vacuuming the large library room. Everyday is physical but today was over the top.

Sun Oct 21 - 35 min walk with doggie I am petsitting, out in the country but walkable area...
Down around the corner to see what the construction was all about... Pretty little pond...

Cute little building...not sure what it is for - pumphouse? Decorative?

View of the main road nearby and the pretty scenic river along it...

Our path today up the road...

Some fall color! Color late this year...

A little more color as we approach the house/driveway...doggie did well walking.

Total: 2 hrs 35 min

Hello - thanks for stopping in! I am also on the "wrong side of 50" and pain plus a couple of joint replacements make things challenging for me but I still want to be as agile and limber and active as I can possibly be. I won't give up!
Truly, the 90s alternative rock bands are my favorites - I don't know them all by name but just like the songs/music.

Ha! Keep on keepin' on! Us oldsters need to keep moving, right?

I agree that 90's pop-punk is good stuff for exercising

I just had to check out an active gym log with so many pageviews. Curiosity got the best of me there hehehe. Peace!

Mon Nov 19 - 20 min dancing to Pandora dance station

Straight Up
Tue Nov 20 - 30 min dancing to Pandora dance station while cooking

Wed Nov 21 - 30 min of A Morning Cup of Yoga at the gatehouse at work
Thu Nov 22 (Thanksgiving!) - 30 min total - warmed up with dancing to Pandora, then followed a HIIT circuit from Lean in 15: 15- Minute Meals and Workouts... by Joe Wicks
He recommended 5 circuits - I only got thru two and had to modify.
Fri Nov 23 - 30 min of A Morning Cup of Yoga at the gatehouse at work - I did a pose and felt my left (non-surgical) knee crunch... was glad this was day 5 because I am gimpy with it right now and want it to heal a little. This knee is supposed to have a replacement too but not until I have a good job with insurance again. It's been "bad" and painful but I can't not exercise. The HIIT circuit had me doing things I haven't done in years, my body was going WHAT ARE YOU DOING???
Sun Nov 25 - 20 min walk at work - bonus long break from our day manager who told us to take a walk if we wanted because we are slow now due to weather and it gets dark so early now we can't in the evenings. pics
**bonus 20 min walk after getting out of work early over at our wedding venue down the street. pics

total this week: 3 hours

Mon Nov 26 - 20 min low impact dancing to Pandora dance station

Take A Chance on Me
Tue Nov 27 - 30 min shoveling snow out of driveway; 1 hr vacuuming the library at work

Fri Nov 30 - I am counting work: at least 40 min wrangling 8 ft tables by myself, and helping carry 2 more in from a separate bldg. Moving chairs, hoisting them up on chair rack. Then I moved 4 very heavy stanchions from downstairs to a golf cart and over to shelter house (which also involved getting stuck in the mud with a golf cart and being pulled out by Maintenance/facilities...oh it was a FUN day...) the stanchions had to be carried up stairs. Think 40 lb dumbells with only one weighted end...(not sure how much they weighed - they were old, very heavy with a heavy wood pole.)

Sat Dec 1 - 20 min dancing to Pandora dance station

Rich Girl
Sun Dec 2 - 20 min of A Morning Cup of Yoga in the gatehouse at work, then a bonus 20 min walk given to us by the day manager because it was so nice out.
