Default NEWS: Applebee's offers "Weight Watchers"

"(Reuters) - Applebee's International, which owns the Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurant chain, said on Friday it will add a new "Weight Watchers" section to its menus."

Is there anything in "Weight Watchers" we can eat??

Someone posted somewhere not to long ago about the chicken breast that applebee's serves ~ they include sugar in their marinade. If you are eating there it may be wise to ask the server about it.

A friend and I (she's doing Atkins too ) just went to Applebees last week. I ordered the Buffalo Wings and half a salad and she ordered the Artichoke Dip and half a salad. She asked the waitress if she could have raw veggies instead of chips with the dip and they were happy to oblige. There was so much food on the table it looked more like a feast instead of a diet.

I went to Aplebees and had a really hard tiem finding anything I could have. Every thing was breaded, in a gravey, or covered in BBQ sauce. I ended up having a bacon hamburger with no bun and a side of veggies. It was disapointing. I prefer the Villige Inn that is next door to it here. They have alot more things that are great on an LC diet, and are always willing to do what ever subs I ask for.
