low carb veg speakers??

Hey all,
I'm not sure how active this forum is, but I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on good speakers who know about vegetarians on low carb diets? I'm the president of the vegetarian society at my college in CT, and am trying to get someone (even someone non-professional) to come give a presentation. If you know of anyone, drop me a message on this thread or (even better) in my journal!

TrustyCat, you might try to contact Cyndi Norman (www.immuneweb.org). She's been a low carb vegetarian for 5+ years, and runs the LC-Veg mailing list.

She is on the 'other coast,' though, and I don't know what your speaker budget is or what she'd charge.
