Default Cardio - How hard should I work?

Hi,

Just looking for a little advice about workout intensity and I couldn't seem to find it in the CKD 101 sticky. I'm doing AM cardio 4 days a week right now on my CKD. I usually work pretty hard at my cardio on Mon. and Tues., mostly because I can (yea, carb load!) and I like the way it makes me feel. (If it were BFL it would be somewhere between levels 8 and 9.) Wed. and Thurs. are another story. Those butt dragger cardio sessions usually wind up closer to 7-8 on the BFL scale of exertion, but I'm really whipped afterwards - especially as the length of the sessions increases.

I guess my question is mostly concerned with losing muscle mass: am I working too hard at the cardio? Could that be causing me to lose muscle? Just worried about my hard-won lean body mass...

Dani

Default good to go ...

My cardio sessions go the same way ...

High intensity, intervals early in the week

and long low duration type cardio as the week drags on ... LOL ... medium intensity.

Sounds like you are on track ...
