Happy New Year everyone!
This has got to be a good year and if I can ever get to my destination (stuck at a hotel in TX waiting for my truck to be fixed) in AZ I can't wait to start exercising and pick back up on this thread again. I have no idea what kind of neighborhood (suburbs I think) this is or what the walking is like. I do know I'll be avoiding the sun. Don't know if he has a treadmill either. Will find out soon.

Happy New Year

Going to start 2016 off on the right foot. The only resolution I made was to stop the chaos. To me that means being more organized and sticking to plans.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year

Been MIA for awhile, but it's time to get back on track. Goal is 2 hours a week!

Got in my 2 hours in and most of it was from today. Bought a Zoo membership and walked around there today. Nice, interesting paths and well maintained. If I'm going to walk in the winter, might as well be someplace I can get some pleasure out of.

I didn't get my 2 hours of resistance exercise in this week, but I did get started. I picked up an adjustable bench thing that I can use for doing sit-ups and lifting weights. I picked up some dumbbells, too. I got about 1 hour in over the weekend -- just trying to work into it slowly. The plan is to do something each day and log it. I'll try to get my 2 hours in by next Sunday.

Hi everyone - landed in AZ and will be starting back on exercise this week.
Resting, organizing.. I've done nothing but work, travel and now orient ...haven't exercised in weeks really so looking forward to starting up again. Food not great either, also looking forward to getting back on track.

This week I made my goal - will post details later.
2 weeks out from moving and working a ridiculous amount of hours. My camera is full and can't take any more walk pics til I clear it out so yesterdays quick walk was photo-less...

Go everybody!!!

**catching up with myself -
Sun Dec 6 1 1/2 hr walk in my old field/woods
Wed Dec 9 30 min walk The West Woods - handfeeding chickadees!

total: 2 hours

I thought there would be an edit button on the above entries but there wasn't so this is posted here now...

I did not get my 2 full hours in this week. Sit-ups gave me a gut ache something fierce. I did do them every other day and I seem to be recovering. I did three 20 to 25 minute "resistance" sessions. I am making progress. I'll see if I can get it up to 2 hours this week.

Good job, Kat . You got settled in and right down to business. I look forward to following your AZ adventures -- and seeing some pics, maybe. That is one state that I have never set foot in.

Just a little over 1 hour for me this past week. Started doing some strength exercises, slowly so that I don't injure myself.

Good everyone! It must be hot there, Ellen? Or is is unseasonably cold? It's unseasonably cold here at night - 30s.
Kelly, be careful. Good job, Ken, you'll get used to it. I'm sure I'll be sore too once I start doing other forms of exercise. I did post some AZ pics..very different out here...
