Mmmm, I seasoned pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a bit of smoked paprika, wrapped it in bacon and crock potted it. I put it under the broiler to crisp up the bacon a bit after removing it from the crock pot. Just had it with steamed buttered broccoli. Soooooooo, good!!!

Have fun!

Ate at Cracker Barrel yesterday. Had grilled lemon pepper rainbow trout, green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, steamed broccoli, and (gasp) a baked potato with butter and sour cream! I put some of my baked potato butter on my broccoli. It was all so good!

Last night was Creamy French Mustard Chicken - started in the frying pan and finished in the Crockpot. It was very, very good. Side of green beans cooked with bacon & tomatoes.

It's just good manners, KWIM?

Tonight I cooked some chicken livers and minced onions in rendered chicken fat. I saved the fat when I browned chicken thighs for another recipe.

Ended up having scrambled eggs, bacon, & toast w/strawberry cream cheese. Low carb cream cheese muffins for dessert.

I do! In a small intimate setting, good manners go far...banquets, buffets, potlucks... different story! They've been good to me, and feeding me - I wasn't going to make a deal over the potatoes.

This week's dinners: Olive-oil poached Sea Bass w/Heirloom Tomato relish - the "poach" actually was fried... but it was good! The relish was completely savory, with sauteed capers, kalamatas, lemon juice, olive oil and chopped tomatoes. First time I've tried sea bass.
