Next time I eat chicken, I am going to try it dipped in melted butter and see what happens.

I haven't dipped in butter but I have fried in butter and/or spread with bacon fat and that didn't help me, but YMMV.

It ended up being $15 for a 5-lb duck. A little steep, but I have been craving duck so bad that I bought it anyway! Food prices are astronomical where I live now.

Kallyn, you got a deal. The duck at my WF was 4.50 a pound. Yikes!

Oh yeah, save the fat drippings and use them to cook veggies or eggs. They're lucious.
