Weekly IF has been hit and miss lately. I'll see if I can get on in this week to wrap up my practice for this period. I'll begin my last one for this site, and it will be less than 90 days as I'll be finishing the year loop on my "Gym Log" here and exiting daily posting/reading here. I'll likely start a single "check in" thread (perhaps that needs to be a "journal 2) and post there once a quarter with current data - sort of a long term example.

Next practice I'm thinking about for Oct 1 - Nov 13 is 2 items, "no eating in car" and "eliminate eating cheese" - I don't seem to have adverse reaction to dairy and I've also developed a strong habit of eating in the car after hard play sessions - I can develop a habit of waiting till I get home to eat, plus it's probably kind of dangerous and certainly can get messy ha!

I'm still in search of the motivation to get back into weight loss mode with my eating. I've been busy with life and working out consistently. I've just been eating to the level of my activity. I've come to the conclusion that I have to "diet" to lose weight. In other words, I have to track how much I eat and limit how much I eat. If I eat LCHF to my fill each day my body seems to be happy with maintaining the size that I am now. I find it interesting that this just happens to be the weight that I was in high school -- overweight but not obese. I wasn't happy at 210 pounds back then, but it really does not bother me now. Perhaps that is why I'm finding it hard to get motivated to shed the 15 (or so) pounds that I'd like to. I'm considering a challenge with my DD#2 who is also doing keto. She wants to lose 15 pound more. Maybe this will be the motivation we both need to make it happen.

Ken, that's me, also. The only way for me to lose any weight now is to starve, basically... and I don't dislike myself enough for that anymore. I also struggle with the cheese. It's the only half-decent not-so-processed food easily accessible at work. Most of the time, it's all I can muster to do this, which is shop/cook for decent LC meals and avoid obvious junk. I can't seem to get the emotional motivation to diet. Meh. Doing it along with your DD sounds like a plan; I wish my DH had a reason to do it along with me.
