Default Starting Induction on Monday March 18th

I am beginning Induction on Monday, March 18th. I have a friend that has been on the Atkins Diet for a month and has lost 15 lbs. Hopefully I can do as well. I've tried it before but my problem is I get bored. There are so few things you can eat and I'm not a very good cook so I don't do well with the recipes. Hope I can stay motivated this time. Anyway I have about 70 to 80 lbs. to lose. Talk to you all later. I'll check in on Friday and let ya know how I'm doing.

Default welcome

I wanted to wish U well with your low-carb venture. As for getting bored...there really is a lot of food choices and U can make foods in many different ways without becoming too difficult. Make sure U are on a good multi-vitamin, calcium-magnesium and potassium. Drink lots of water.

make a commitment to trying at least a new recipe and a new low-carb vegetable per week, and you'll never get bored.

congratulations to your friend, and welcome to the board.

Check the recipes page in the orange bar at the top.

Be sure to stay active with this forum - that will get you through the rough spots and keep you filled with information in a very timely fashion and help you become unbored as necessary.

Best of luck to you and your friend both.
