Default The Drinking Man's Diet and No S Diet

The Drinking Man's Diet (1962), the "Grand Daddy of Low Carb Diets": 60 carbs a day. Developed by Gardner Jameson and an Agnes Fay Morgan formerly of the University of California. This is a small, but informative, booklet you can still pick up on Amazon. Apparently the US Air Force (according to Jameson) was using low carb pre this "book" to keep pilots trim.

The No S Diet (2008) by Reinhard Engels. No S started as just a one page website with a discussion board. No Snacks, Sweets or Seconds: Except for Days that Start With S.

I used the No S diet for 2 months in 2010 (I was highly motivated, I was heading to the Grand Cayman...). I lost 22 pounds.

I know many strict followers of low carb the No S seems to be to "loose" but I am amazed when I follow it, how just following its rules, I trim down rather quickly.

My biggest "flaw" over the last year was not following any structure, and sitting around and not doing any exercise except Isometrics.

Anyway, I thought I would add these two little known "gems" to the semi-low carb list.
