Lunch is always a problem for me. (We are retired and eat 99% of our meals at home.) I cook breakfast and I cook dinner (hubs does the KP, so it's fair), but lunches, well...we either have cold cuts--oops, skuze me, "charcuterie," deviled eggs, sliced cheese.

Lunch: Problem.

Pork belly? OMG!!! Crispy skinned and so greasy. My favorite.

Okay, back to reality: I had a tomato wedge with red and green peppers, and lots of sliced onion, a slice of cheddar, and 2 slices of leftover roast turkey breast and a cup of diet coke. I melted everything in the microwave. So good.

LittleMe- why is that a problem? most lean people eat the same basic types of breakfasts and lunches.....are you bored with those choices?

Linda- yum! i LOVE turkey melts- sometimes i just take the meat on a plate and melt the cheese on. YUMMMMM!

today was my usual:
steamed egg (with a honeymustard that only has one carb per tsp)
2 jarlesberg rounds
grape tomatoes with ranch to dip

snacks- tigernuts and wasabi seaweed crisps

Nada; too busy again. However, I munched on brie and bacon during the morning and a cup of coffee.

My boss pizzed me off something awful and we got into a huge discussion of how he favors the male cooks and treats the females (me) as an afterthought.

Robin- I just never know what to get (store) to have on hand so it's usually just cold cuts. Such a weird name, "cold cuts".....deli meat. I feel the need to be more creative.

Wasn't that hungry, so I didn't eat. I had to bake off 22 caramel coconut flans and I tasted one and I ate a lot of strawberries...they were left over from the flan garnish.

No breakfast, until I got to work and had a taste of a mini blueberry scone I was wrapping for tomorrow's breakfast service. Since I had that, I didn't bother to eat lunch.

Back on track, tomorrow and forevermore.
