I'm a big one for keeping the body guessing, Nancy! Over and over I've seen that if I follow anything too strictly I eventually stall because my body does the guesstimating. I have to toss in an occasional surprise or I'm stuck. I have to outwit my body's appestat. It's the weirdest thing.

Still, the easiest diet we've ever done is Anchell, just because there is so little guesswork to putting those meals together.

Hi,

Is anyone still doing this diet? How are you doing with it?

I just started it today. I feel good with no drowsiness. I had a hamburger patty and french fries for breakfast.

This is kind of an interesting thread. I had not heard of this plan. Not sure I'm interested in trying it, though. I'll have to give it careful consideration.

I can't believe this guy is a doctor.
This doesn't make any sense. The body is always converting food into fat and is always burning the converted fat. They're ungoing process that happens every moment, whether you gain or lose depends enterily on the the balance between between storing and releasing at the end of the day. I know there are people who believe that if you do something your body won't convert nutrients to fat but this is not how the body works and it's an unscientific view of metabolism. Eating alone triggers lipogenesys and anabolism. I'm not hacking this thread by cherry picking a sentence, but I think that people would be greatly helped by knowing how lipogenesys and lipolysis really work. There's no "this food will get converted to fat, this one won't"
