Day 86 of 90

This is the last day of me eating badly in order to hack my cholesterol labs tomorrow. Funny, though... me eating "badly" these days is still eating healthy food and less than 1/5th the carbs that I used to eat when eating SAD. Frankly, I don't know what my body would do if I went totally off the reservation on a junky carbfest. It's been more than 5 years of me eating mostly < 50 carbs (100 on my worst days). If I had a 400 carb day now I'd probably go into convulsions and die. That's what I like to believe, anyway. It helps keep me from doing something stupid.

Interesting to know your labs if you're willing to share Ken. I've got a physical needed to sched so I'll have my numbers soon too. I'm in a fairly aggressive eat/stop/eat mode and weight is coming down quickly - but it would be curious how this would reflect on labs - I'll likely continue and see what happens. Change from there if needed

made 220 Lbs this month (tho fasted), stoked about that, getting easier on the water

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. Doing well. I am getting to the point of not having the time to write things down on the notepad at work but make a mental note of what is on the table..today it. was candy, cupcakes, cake, cookies, chips/salty snacks. I found some cheese chunks in the fridge that no one put out, colby jack - so was happy to be able to have something. Some visions of popping that stupid piece of candy from my mom in my mouth came but I just wanted to deposit it with the rest of the candy on the table at work - threw it in my lunch bag so I wouldn't see it.

Day 87 of 90

Dial back day. I'll be working hard to get back in the LC zone of awesomeness. Goals for today: Keep it VLCHF (< 20 net) and to log my food. Living the past 10 days above my keto limit lead to a pretty significant bump up in weight for my "First Challenge" entry for May 1 -- up 5 pounds from my April low. I have a doctor's visit in two weeks. I hope to have those pounds shed by then. The bonus weight is, after all, mostly water.

BTW: It looks like we are about due to switch this challenge over to a new thread. We've almost hit the 2000 post limit. I don't know about you, but saving to this thread has become very slow.

I don't think it's unique to this thread. I'll go test one in TEST this one was very slow to update and edit

High stress. Ended up going to see my mom and she hands me a fig cookie bar to get rid of. Visions or should I say fears (!?) of me just gobbling it danced around a bit. In my bag it goes to get rid of it at work. On the notepad list: coupons for fast food places with new concoctions that sound good. Starbucks summer new concoction frappes.

Hi folks! Yes, I noticed that post count approaching 2000. I never noticed a slowdown if I got it right on the first try: if I tried editing my post, it would lag really badly. I'm not sure that's related to the post count, because at the same time of day, I post to the much-smaller Daily Weigh-In thread and noticed the same thing. Hmm.
