Question Newbie, wants to lose 15lbs

I am planning on starting the atkins plan tomorrow after i go food shopping and buy all the foods. Anyway, i've been strugling with this freshmen 15 lbs i gained last year at college. I hear all these amazing stories of people mostly (heavier people) who lost 10-15 lbs during induction. I was wondering since, i don't have that much weight to lose will this be more of a struggle for me? How much am I expected to lose during induction? And how long do you think it will take me to get to my goal weight?
Thanks a bunch!

Typical weight loss for Induction is about 10%. If you want to lose 15 lbs, you'll probably lose about 2 during Induction. More can happen, especially if you're strict with yourself, young or male. The length of time AFTER Induction to lose the rest varies according to the person and the factors mentioned above.

The benefit to low-carbing, as opposed to losing 15 lbs quickly on some diet, is that you should never be hungry while you're losing and you should be able to stay on this way of eating for the rest of your life. This is HEALTHY weight loss, as opposed to yo-yo dieting.
