Default Anybody on CALP ever do the 3-Day Facelift Diet?

Yesterday, when exploring a bunch of other forums here, I came across an interesting old posting touting a three day eating plan to promote glowing skin.

The original post provided information that makes it look like it would be SIMPLE to follow on CALP.

But on further research, I learned that the actual 3-Day Diet plan was more complicated, and had much more food in it than I could possibly eat in ONE day.

I plan to try it, but I'm using canned salmon - I'm opening a can of red salmon, and a can of the inexpensive pink salmon, and mixing them together, and dividing them into six equal portions - they'd be perfect for either CMs or for RMs.

Anyway, here's the original posting I found here at Low-Carbers, and following it is a link to the FULL version Perricone diet and many interesing postings about it. For instance, he claimed that you could only use fresh wild salmon -- which most of us could never afford to eat twice a week, much less twice a day, LOL!!

I'm curious if any CADrs/CALPrs have any first-hand experience with this salmon-based diet which is alleged to remarkably help the facial skin and appearance?

Thanks.

3 Day Diet for Glowing Skin!

I heard about this quick 3-day diet from a friend, but I think it follows the principles set up by the Dr. Perricone Skin doc. It seems to work better for middle age skin than anyone else (yea for us!!). I have used it several times now and still amazed at the results!

You are supposed to eat this meal twice a day for three days straight.

....Here goes:

3-4 ounces of Salmon....
1 cup salad greens......
With lemon juice and oil dressing
1/2 cup berries (blackberries, blueberries, rasberries).

.....By day 2 my skin had a nice smooth "glow" (is the only way I can describe it) that lasted for 4-5 days afterwords. Give it a try! I'd love to hear results from anyone else who tries it......

Here is a much longer version of this diet, called "The 3 Day Facelife Diet."

There's way too much to eat on this longer bigger version of the plan for me, but I could do the unofficial version above, and during my RM have the oatmeal.

That's what I thought, too, Eno -- and then save the blueberries for the RM -- I had a half cup of blueberries tonight, and it would be SIMPLE to consume one full cup at the end of the RM.

I bought one can of pink & one can of red salmon, and combined them, and there was enough to fill four of my one-cup mason jars.

Tomorrow I'll pick up some fresh spinach and green leaf lettuce.

It should be pretty easy to eat a CM of salmon & salad a couple times a day for a while... Well, I'll see about that, soon.
