Default Chocolate "cheesecake"

I have this great recipe for chocolate "cheese cake"

Take 2 parts cream cheese - philly for best results
2 parts sour cream
1 part thicken cream - I use Pura Thick cream - no hidden sugars
splenda to sweeten
vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon cocoa - Baking Cocoa from Nestle tastes and smells great

Mash the cream cheese and put in microwave for about 10 seconds and then stir until soft and creamy, add the rest and mix well. Place in fridge to cool or eat as is.

I normally make this using 2 oz of cream cheese, and the rest falls into place. Is also great if you use lemon essence in addiiton to the vanilla and leave out the cocoa.

Enjoy

Sue

"Pura" is a brand of dairy products here in Australia.
I'm sure any kind of thickened cream, or just plain heavy cream, would work in this recipe.

I used to make a version of this but used only 1 oz of cream cheese. The great thing about it is that it's very satisfying and very rich, a nice way to end the day.

Now I'm trying to cut down on dairy so I've stopped making it .

Ohhh Thanks! So if you were using heavy cream would you whip it before using it in the recipe or just pour it in?

Thanks... the recipe sounds yummy!
